{"id":26,"date":"2012-09-07T18:40:40","date_gmt":"2012-09-07T18:40:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/raspberrytorte.com\/?p=26"},"modified":"2012-09-07T18:40:40","modified_gmt":"2012-09-07T18:40:40","slug":"revision-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/raspberrytorte.com\/?p=26","title":{"rendered":"Revision 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;re working on the minor modifications to our development units in order to future proof against the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.raspberrypi.org\/archives\/1929\" title=\"Raspberry Pi Rev 2\" target=\"_blank\">Raspberry Pi Rev 2<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Also we&#8217;ve discovered there&#8217;s another version of the 2010 Big Trak, we&#8217;re calling it <em>Big Trak 2010 Rev2<\/em>.!<br \/>\nThe major changes appear to a fully populated control board with only one IC not two.<br \/>\nThere&#8217;s also a 3 pole switch with according to the manual has separate &#8216;carpet&#8217; and &#8216;wooden floor&#8217; modes.<br \/>\nPreliminary analysis implies &#8216;Carpet mode&#8217; doesn&#8217;t appear to do much but the drive does sound intriguingly different.<\/p>\n<p>If you have Big Trak Rev2 fear not, the information currently in the <a href=\"http:\/\/wiki.raspberrytorte.com\/index.php?title=Big_Trak_Circuits#Connecting_the_Raspberry_Pi\" title=\"wiki\">wiki<\/a> still applies and you can build your own RaspberryTortoise.<\/p>\n<p>We will be updating the wiki with new Big Trak info once we&#8217;ve done a full autopsy of the Rev 2.<\/p>\n<p>If you have any questions or find that your Big Trak is yet another standard, we&#8217;d love to hear from you below.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;re working on the minor modifications to our development units in order to future proof against the Raspberry Pi Rev 2.
